Sky Blue

I want to move to a new town/city and renting, mostly because the jobs where Iive low paying etc. i have a place in mind but i dont know anyone who lives there. how do i go about moving without a job, I have to move by winter. How do you go about this? the place is good distance away that i cant just drive there and secure a job in one day and then hope for a apartment right away. Any advice/suggestions/experiences :-S I hate the fact that you have to get put on a waiting list, then you cant get the times of getting a job and moving in to line up

  1. Use the computer and communicate with some possibilities and pray

  2. Online job boards to search for area specific jobs, perhaps with specific starting dates, register with an agency to find a place perhaps and try and time the two together, or save a little, move and then look for a job when you get there accepting anything initially.

  3. If you are not opposed to asking for help for the government they can help you. If you don’t have a job and you have kids you might qualify for section eight. They will pay for your rent or a portion of it. But that does limit your choices.

  4. First..save up enough money before moving to another place without a job to sustain you. Surf the computer too for rental places in the area you have in mind so you have an idea of prices. Try to check for jobs too before you make the move..good luck
