What is the best way to transport a computer a long distance in a moving van?

I no longer have the original boxes. I have a 17″ flat screen monitor as well. My system will be going quite a long distance.

My computer is “my precious”…

  1. What I’ve done in the past to move computers is to take some blankets, pillows or similiar soft things I’m moving and to pack them in with the computer. Keep the monitor and CPU seperate. Just sandwich those in between the sheets, and keep all the corners wrapped. Make sure they’re on or near the bottom of the van, all comfy. My computer is my precious as well =)
