How do I minimize Moving costs?

I will be moving about 200 miles in about a week. After checking out moving boxes, vans, truck rentals, tape, everything I am overwhelmed. I have no one to help me move and I cant afford professionals. Even a Uhaul is a little out of budget.
What do you guys suggest for reducing costs in moving?

Collect everything you don’t need or really care for, and have a yard sale. Put signs in strategic locations to draw more people there. A two-day yard sale is good (Sat-Sun), because you can tell people to come back tomorrow. Everything you didn’t sell at the yard sale, forget it. After this process, I’m sure you’ll find you have less stuff to move than you thought, and hopefully some much-needed extra cash.
Don’t be afraid to ask your local LDS Church or church of your choice
OR your local boy scouts
Or your local Salvation Army maybe or Elks Club
Or your neighbors
Or Armed Forces recruiters
I know when I was growing up we helped a lot of people we did not know…..
Painted many houses and repaired fences, took in crops, and mowed Lawns
