What questions do I ask moving companies?”

Make sure it’s a good deal, for the price of getting from your old house to your new house add it up and stuff with gas prices and make sure it’s not that high and it’s reasonable. Question yourself how much stuff your putting in the moving truck and it should be reasonable for the amount your taking. Good luck.

  2. First, check with your local better business bureau to see about complaints; make sure the company is fully licensed, bonded, insured. The sales rep must come to your home to look @ everything you have to be packed and/or moved. A visual inspection. Appliances and glass (like glass table tops) need to be prepped properly. Ask about insurance….Ask if they will give you a binding, not to exceed estimate (some companies will, I know they do where I live). Extra costs (extra time for this) will be things like stairs (either at origin or destination), long carries (over 75 feet truck to door)….

    Best of luck to you!
