How do you get a moving company to deliver your furniture when they keep stalling?

Five weeks ago, we paid “I Do Moving” in Atlanta $975.00 (half the fee) to move our belongings to Dallas. They loaded up our stuff and scheduled the move 4 times and cancelled 4 times. I have asked for a firm date and time and they have not complied. What can I do to get them to deliver our things?

Does anyone work for a moving company? I need to get an idea of how much it would cost to pack a 2 room apt

Wow, and I thought it was bad when North American Van Lines gave us a four day window of delivery dates and were still three days late.
If you are still in Atlanta, or can get back there easily, I would go down to their offices and demand my stuff unloaded back at my house and my money back. You’ll probably have to take them to court before you ever see your money, but it never hurts to try.
If you’ve already moved, you could arrange with a friend still there to go to their offices for you. Have the friend call you as they get there, then you call their office to demand your belongings be released to your friend as your friend walks in the door.
you might have to file with the police…you should always use a NATIONAL company ( not local) to move…get a lawyer, get the police…have all your paperwork in order and go to the company…good luck getting your stuff back…
(on TV for the past 10 yrs…they have been cautioning people about moving companies and their no show tactics…you should have been listening…)
Well, check to see if your stuff is being sold on Ebay. J/K.
